Hi Dee and Carol! Still listening to your show and loving it. Just wondering if y’all have heard of Southern Bulb Company in Golden Texas. Going next Thursday to hear a presentation about bulbs and tour their gardens. It was founded by Chris Wiesinger who wrote The Bulb Hunter.
Thanks for the news about the bioluminescent petunias coming onto the market! I can't wait to add some to my garden!
On the subject of bulbs, have you tried the companies Colorblends or Qdaffs? Colorblends market themselves as "wholesale" but anyone can buy and their minimum order isn't really that much. Qdaffs is my new favorite - only rare and unique daffodil varieties, several sold by the bulb. I actually like the small quantity option, because I can still enjoy an expensive unique variety by buying just enough for a couple of clump plantings. Other varieties are by the bag of 25 and affordable.
Hi Brenda, when you add those, please take photos for us! We'd love to see them in the wild. I have bought from Colorblends, but thanks for the tip on Qdaffs. I love beautiful, small, unique daffodils. That will be fun for this fall. Thanks for listening!
