Ohhh! Masha is beautiful! I’m a cat person too. Such great company in the garden and in the evening to cuddle with. Look forward to seeing post on Masha.
Last Monday, the day after Christmas, I was thinking of you two and feeling sorry for you both that you had to do a podcast & couldn't relax. (Everyone should relax the day after Christmas!) So I was happy to discover that you took the day off but still thought of your listeners by giving us lots and lots of links to past shows. I worked my way through them all, starting with the oldest. So much fun! THANK YOU for the podcasts, the substack newsletters, and a wonderful year of gardening ideas.
Russian Blues are beautiful and I'm glad you finally got one. Also, glad you got a female, who will not have the possibility of being a plugged Tom and those emergencies. You can leave her for a weekend without fear that something bad will happen if the house is already "cat-proofed." Just leave an extra litter box so that she doesn't avoid a dirty one and make a mess where you don't want it. Some cats are very fastidious and won't "go" where it smells bad. Cats are good company, but remember that it's no longer YOUR house, it's the CAT's house!!! They rule!!! HaHa! Carol can explain my previous career.
Hey Tess, I see that little DVM next to your name. We've had loads of cats throughout the years so I'm familiar with all their idiosyncrasies. You'll be glad to know I keep Masha's box very clean. :) ~~Dee
I love Cats... and have three inside myself. She is adorable. Happy New Year to you both. I love the podcast and all you posts, blogs and instagrams Thanks so much. Becky Kirts. Basil Becky
Thanks Kathy! I'll be glad to share once garden season starts. So far, she's tried to eat my poinsettia and that's it. I had to put it way out of her reach. ~~Dee

Hi Becky! Thank you so much! We love making the podcast. Can't believe we're on our fifth season. Time does fly!~~Dee
What a cutie! Do share her on the Cats in Gardens blog when you have some plant/garden pics and interactions to report on.
